GOLF IN LINCOLNSHIRE
Superb championship golf courses in Lincolnshire can be found at De Vere Belton Woods, as well as at the excellent parkland golf course of Kenwick Park. There are over 50 golf clubs in Lincolnshire, with a number of private members golf clubs as well as public golf courses being widely available. Perhaps the most famous golf course in Lincolnshire is that of Woodhall Spa, home to the English Golf Union and a superb heathland golf course that hosts many top amateur golf events. The county is bordered by Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, and Northamptonshire. There are a number of golf courses near Lincoln, the principal settlement, such as Canwick Park, and Blankney. Seacroft and North Shore are two good examples of some underrated links courses in Lincolnshire, and indeed the county is spoilt by the variety of other parkland, moorland, and heathland golf courses available.
