GOLF IN ESSEX

The golf courses in Essex include superb links courses such as Frinton in the East of the county, The Essex, an excellent parkland golf course in central Essex, as well as golf clubs near London such as Toot Hill. There are some excellent golfing holiday destinations too, for instance at The Warren and Bunsay Downs, but whatever you are looking for you will find a wide range of public golf courses and private members golf clubs in Essex, as there are approximately 80 golf courses in Essex. The county shares its borders with Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Hertfordshire, Kent, and Greater London, and has many good quality golf clubs near Chelmsford, the county town.
