GOLF IN WORCESTERSHIRE

There are around 40 golf courses in Worcestershire, ranging from downland golf courses such as Broadway, to the more traditional parkland golf courses at Fulford Heath and Evesham. Numerous golf clubs near Birmingham such as Redditch, and Rose Hill are well worth playing, and there are some fine golf courses near Worcester as well. The county is bordered by Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, and Gloucestershire, with the southern part of the county being close to the Cotswolds. It’s understandable that a large number of visiting golfers are drawn to the golf clubs in Worcestershire, and other recommended golf courses include Wyre Forest, Blackwell, and Bromsgrove. There is a pleasant mixture of parkland, downland, and heathland golf courses in Worcestershire that will please every golfer.
