Orpington Golf Centre, one of the largest golf facilities in England and located close to the M25 and M20 motorways, has launched a new society deal to coincide with the recent renovations to the Ruxley course.
The Ruxley course, as with the complimenting Cray Valley course and par 3 course, runs through scenic Kent countryside, and provides a great venue for visiting and society golfers. The Ruxley course, measuring 5540 yards, has recently been renovated with two new holes replacing the old 7th and 8th. The course is always very well maintained, and with large greens it provides a few interesting challenges even to mid-handicappers. The opening nine holes are fairly tight and hilly while the back nine opens out a little more, allowing you to open the shoulders.
