The challenging links course is unique as it is set on a cliff top and is part of the World Heritage coastline, an area of outstanding beauty. Large grass mounds, sculptured bunkers and stone walls are all inherent features of the course. The signature 6th hole, known as Port Coombe, was recently voted in the top 100 holes in the world. A spectacular hole of only 133 yards but dropping from the top of the cliff to a green almost at sea level far below!
There are magnificent sea views along the Chesil Bank to Portland Bill in the East and across Lyme Bay to Golden Cap, the highest point on the South Coast, in the West.
