Hockley Golf Club is a private members’ Club established in 1914 with a reputation for excellent year-round playing conditions.
Situated within the western boundary of the South Downs National Park, the course was designed by the legendary James Braid, and is set on chalk downland overlooking the City of Winchester.
Starting with a gentle climb up the first four holes, the course then flattens out for most of the round, until descending down the 18th hole. Views stretch as far as the Isle of Wight on a clear day. When the breeze is up, Hockley is a great challenge.
Visitors, societies, and corporate groups are very welcome throughout the year, enjoying the challenge of our superb course and the friendly service in our clubhouse.
