Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club, or S&A as it is commonly known, was the proud host of the 1933 and 1937 Ryder Cup matches. The Clubhouse, which boasts a stunning collection of memorabilia from the matches, affords a stunning view across the links from the panoramic conservatory.
Set amongst ranges of tall sandhills and smaller sand dunes, the course is renowned for its true and fast greens, punishing rough and entertaining layout. It has a variety of tees to ensure the course is enjoyable and challenging to both professional and amateur alike.
Often celebrated for its attention to detail and service culture, S&A is a true gem in all aspects.
