Less than an hour from St Andrews and even closer to Gleneagles, the venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup, a visit to Dunfermline Golf Club will be rewarded with a great day on a very fine golf course. Not all of Fife's best courses are on the links!
Dunfermline has a growing reputation for the quality of its layout and the condition of the golf course as a first class parkland course. In recent years Dunfermline has played host to the Scottish Mid Amateur and Scottish Ladies Youths Championships.
Golf was played in Dunfermline as long ago as the 16th century, whilst the clubhouse is a 600 year old baronial home. It has since been updated to provide visitors with modern facilities without losing the charm and mystery of the main building.
