Farleigh boasts many major professional tournaments including the Euro Pro Tour event. A combination of the Blue and Yellow nines, the Green is a real golfer’s challenge. The Blue is the most interesting nine at Farleigh. The landscape is dominated by a large valley which comes into play on six of the nine holes. This creates several changes in elevation and some tight fairways along the bottom of the valley. The Yellow can be an excellent confidence boost with genuine birdie opportunities on the first three holes. The course is partly set in a large valley which runs parallel to the valley on which the Blue is set.

Careful plotting around the Blue means you may not need your driver until the eighth hole. The par three third is Farleigh’s signature hole, and a well struck shot over the water to the middle of the undulating green is what is required here. The start of the Red nine offers two relatively short par fours with risk and reward opportunities. In particular the 287 yard, dog leg second hole. Birdie chances on the two par 5’s mean your scorecard can have a really strong finish.

Farleigh boasts many major professional tournaments including the Euro Pro Tour event. A combination of the Yellow and Red nines, the Orange is a popular mix of two contrasting layouts. The beginning of the Yellow nine is always a good experience with birdie chances available. However as the course moves from the valley up onto its upper level the challenge gently hikes up. The Red starts off in a fairly similar manner to how the Yellow finishes with ditches crossing the first two holes and a requirement to plot your way over the hazards.
