Mahony's Point is the shortest of the three courses. A lakeside course with spectacular views including the famous, breathtaking 18th described by Gene Sarazen as “one of the most memorable holes in the world”.
Lackabane, which opened for play in 1999 is a Parkland course providing an excellent golfing challenge with enough water hazards that add both beauty and danger in equal measure.
Killeen, the jewel in the crown, re-opened in 2006 offering both spectacular lakeside scenery and also challenging golf to long hitters with water features on nearly every hole and fast greens.

The Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is unique in that we have three championship courses each with very different features presenting different challenges to the golfer.
If you are willing to take on the Killarney Challenge we recommend starting with the beautiful Mahony’s Point with it’s tough greens and water hazards, moving onto Lackabane, which is a tough test of the long game and finishing with the ultimate Championship Challenge, Killeen.
Play all three to experience the ultimate championship challenge at the offer price of €150 (October – March €125)
Please note that all three must be booked together but can be played anytime within a week.
