Established in 1893, Lurgan Golf Club initially consisted of 9 holes in the Brownlow Demesne. Extended to 18 holes in 1970 to a CK Cotton,Pennick and Associates design, Lurgan has matured into a challenging parkland course bordering on Lurgan lake. A well wooded course of medium difficulty with plenty of dog legs. It is well suited to long hitters but is still enjoyable for the average golfer. Many improvements have taken place to enhance the course and the clubhouse which will further add to to the undoubted attraction of Lurgan Golf Club.
