There are two 18-hole golf courses at Kinross – The Montgomery and The Bruce. The reputation of both these lovely parkland courses continues to rise and in recent years have hosted a number of prestigious amateur and professional tournaments. The Montgomery course is arguably the more difficult of the two courses here at Kinross. Set in glorious parkland beside Loch Leven, the course offers an excellent test of golf requiring you to use all clubs in your bag. Anyone breaking 80 gross gains entry to our Montgomery Challenge Hall of Fame and gets their next round here free.

Although possibly the slightly easier of the 2 courses here at Kinross, The Bruce is still an excellent test of golf. Measuring 6231 yards off the white tees and therefore 250+ yards shorter than its sister course, The Montgomery, it has a par of 73 due to a run of four Par 5s in 6 holes on the front nine (which unusually has a total par score of 39 at the turn). The course is very picturesque with fairways flanked by trees, ponds and undulating greens. It is perhaps no surprise that opinions of visiting golfers is exactly divided when asked which of the 2 courses here at Kinross they prefer.
