The Hindhead Golf Club was formed in 1904 when a small group of golfing enthusiasts converted barren moorland into a course that members and visitors alike are still enjoying today.
Set in one of the most glorious natural settings, Hindhead ranks amongst the best of Britain’s heathland courses.
The first nine flow through shaped fairways and valleys bordered by slopes of heather and pine trees. In the early spring this vista is enhanced with a splash of colour from the rhododendrons and azaleas. The back nine is on an upper plateau, but still retains the wooded landscape with well-defined fairways.
