The West Lancashire Golf Club was founded in 1873 and is among the ten oldest golf clubs in England, and boasts one of the most natural and testing links in the British Isles.
Imaginative and varied in layout, the course has so much more to offer than simply a wonderful experience of classic links with stunning views of the Mersey Estuary, Anglesey and the Welsh Mountains.
The course has hosted Final Qualifying for The Open Championship, and co-hosted The Amateur Championship in 2009.
Our refurbished modern clubhouse offers state of the art facilities. In its comfortable bars, dining rooms and lounges you can relax after your round on the links and take in the spectacular views while enjoying a drink and sampling our excellent food.
