£1500 Presented To Velindre Hospital
On Friday 22nd May Cottrell Park Golf Resort and Spindog’s design and development agency presented two cheques totalling £1500 to a Velindre Hospital representative, Kylie McKee.
The £1500 sum raised was a combined effort between Cottrell Park Golf Resort, PGA Professional Gareth Bennett and Spindog’s who donated £300 for golf lessons for their employees and clients. PGA Professional Gareth Bennett offered his coaching services free of charge and other fundraising included the sale of pink logo’d ‘Golf For Life’ crested golf shirts from the resorts retail department and a series of group lessons for ladies ‘New to Golf’. A fun competition was also arranged at Cottrell Park on Monday 4th May where a further £90 was raised in entry fees.
Velindre Cancer Centre provides specialist cancer services to over 1.5 million people in South East Wales and beyond and they are one of the largest cancer centres in the UK.
