Golf on TV: Snitching & Spitting

Watching golf last weekend, two incidents left a rather unsavoury taste in my mouth. As you may have seen or read, the first taste of bile came courtesy of the disqualification of Scotland’s Peter Whiteford from the Avantha Masters.  Just one stroke off the lead, Whiteford had to endure being told on the 4th tee of the final round that he was being disqualified for an incident that happened on the final hole the day before, and in so being, he became the latest victim of TV viewers contacting the Tour to indicate…Read more …

The Big Thaw
