Halloween At La Manga Club – Now That’s Magic!

Spain’s La Manga Club will be simply magic this October half-term after unveiling a week-long programme of activities to help families celebrate Halloween – with a seven-night break for a family of four available from €1,064 (approx £790).

The award-winning sports and lifestyle resort in Murcia, south-east, Spain, is staging a special Magic School for youngsters aged five to 13 in the run-up to October 31, with plenty of spellbinding tricks and treats in store for children and their parents.

Included in the five-day long programme are an array of Harry Potter-inspired workshops and Halloween-themed activities, plus a feast of spooky delights on Halloween itself including a party and dinner for the whole family.

Based on two people sharing a room, packages cost from €152 per night for a family of four staying seven nights in La Manga Club’s fully-serviced four-star La Lomas Village apartments and €1,872 (£1,385) in the resort’s five-star Principe Felipe Hotel, including breakfast, VAT and free meals for children under five. Also included is access to the saunas, steam rooms, indoor pool and gym at Spa La Manga Club.

Set over 1,400 acres in an area three times the size of Monaco, La Manga Club has set the standard for sports and lifestyle destination resort since its inception in 1972.

Among its recent accolades, the resort was shortlisted at the 2015 Family Traveller Awards named and handed the accolade of ‘Best Golf Resort in Spain’ by UK readers of Today’s Golfer magazine for the fourth year running, as well as being named as one of the top five golf resorts in the world at the prestigious 2015 UltraTravel Awards.

La Manga Club’s extensive facilities include three 18-hole golf courses, a new Leadbetter Golf Academy – the only one in mainland Spain – a 28-court tennis academy, a new High Performance Sports Centre and 2,000m² spa and fitness complex. In addition, there is a five-star hotel, four-star serviced apartments and townhouses and more than 20 bars and restaurants.
