Chippenham Golf Club About To Open New Covered Driving Range Facility

Chippenham Golf Club, in Wiltshire, is set to open its new 8 bay covered driving range facility by the end of November.

Constructed to a high standard, the building will provide a dry and comfortable environment for members and visitors to practice.  It will also aid the Professionals who teach golfers from all over the county.

“The driving range has been in existence for many years but in the winter months, hitting balls on an open field wasn’t much fun.  This new facility is bound to increase participation and will hopefully help to attract more members” said Leighton Walker, General Manager.

Chippenham Golf Club is home to approximately 600 members and has recently improved its course and clubhouse.  The driving range will now complete what has been a dramatic redevelopment.

Mr Walker added, “We really want to sit at the heart of the Chippenham community and we believe the new driving range bays will enable us to introduce more people to the game.  We just can’t wait to get it open”
