A Slice Of Golf Arrives In Edinburgh

Visitors to central Edinburgh will feel like they have stepped onto a golf course, later this month, as the ‘Summer of Golf’ comes to St. Andrew’s Square to celebrate an exciting summer of golf and golfing events ahead. Scotland’s Golf Coast are hosting the Golf Coast Village Interactive Zone in St. Andrew’s Square from the 16th – 19th June, 10.00 – 18.00 to offer members of the public in the capital an opportunity to find out more about what’s going on on Scotland’s Golf Coast this Summer.

There will be a range of activities and challenges for all the family to enjoy, and a great opportunity to win an exclusive trip to Scotland’s Golf Coast. Get tips from the staff at the Nike Performance Fitting Centre at Archerfield Links, who will help sharpen your golf skills; take the challenge of the Long Drive Contest, and kids can get involved with the mini putting area, crazy Golf Zone and Go Kart Track, provided by East Links Family Park. Foxlake Adventures will be providing Segways, offering a taste of family adventure. All these different activities show that the Scotland’s Golf Coast experience goes far and beyond the golf course and that they are the number one destination choice for golfers and their families. There will also be a range of clinics, with some famous faces dropping by to give hints and tips.

This will be a fun-filled event, a great taster of golf, and much much more, and you can hear all about the area and the fantastic tournaments taking place this summer. Scotland’s Golf Coast welcomes the Paul Lawrie Match Play, Archerfield Links Golf Club (4th – 7th August 2016), the Boys Amateur Championship to Muirfield and The Renaissance Club (9th – 14th August 2016) and the Prostate Cancer UK Scottish Seniors Open to Archerfield Links (19-21 August 2016).
