Stoke Park Country Club, Spa & Hotel, one of just two five-AA Red Star golf clubs in England, was awarded the title of ‘best newcomer' when the World of Leading Golf (WLG) announced its 2015 award winners in a ceremony at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club. Stoke Park ‘Season’ To Launch With Re-Opening Of Colt Nine

The new golf season at Stoke Park Golf Club gets underway on April 22 when members help relaunch the venue’s historic first nine holes, the Colt course. Dating back to 1908 and designed by the legendary Harry Colt, the nine-hole loop, which bears his name, has been closed for the winter while it underwent some reshaping of its bunkers. Every bunker on the front nine holes has been completely re-shaped and rebuilt with the inclusion of a bunker liner.
