The historic Royal Dornoch Golf Club is ensuring its illustrious past is not forgotten by future generations. The famous and internationally-acclaimed club held a series of celebrations in 2016 to mark 400 years of golf being played on the town links. The final act was to bury a time capsule with a host of memories looking back over the four centuries. The historic Royal Dornoch Golf Club has completed a number of course changes in its continual drive for improvement as it was named as one of the Top 10 courses in Scotland this week. The club’s world-renowned Championship Course was placed at No 4 in Golf World’s rankings of the best 100 courses in the country - up one place on last year.
