The Belfry Golf Academy Kick Starts 2016 Season With Series Of Fitting Events
The Belfry Golf Academy is looking to kick start the 2016 season by launching a series of brand specific fitting events and an Open Weekend throughout February and March to allow golfers to experience the latest products and custom fitting technologies at the legendary Midland’s Resort.
Golfers will be given the opportunity to trial and be custom fitted for the very latest products from the leading brands in the game, including Titleist, Callaway, PING, TaylorMade, and Nike. Product fitting experts from each of the brands will be on hand, alongside the expert team of PGA Professionals at The Belfry Golf Academy to provide the finest advice for all equipment and tuition needs.
These events underline the incredible breadth of leading products that are available for golfers to experience and be custom fitted for at The Belfry Academy, alongside the expansive Golf Shop at the Resort, which allows golfers or hotel guests to purchase their fitted equipment on site.
From the new Titleist 716 irons & 816 hybrids, to the Nike VaporFly range, TaylorMade M1 & M2 drivers, PING G series of woods & irons, as well as the Callaway Apex family of hybrids and irons – the events will showcase the very best and most up-to-date products on the market from these leading brands.
This is an exciting start to the 2016 season for The Belfry Golf Academy, which has also just announced the experienced Rob Spurrier as its new Academy Director. Spurrier, who brings a wealth of experience having run some of the UK’s largest Golf Academies, aims to reinvigorate the Academy as the centre for golf coaching and custom fitting in the UK.
“These events are just the first of many things that we are looking at to kick start the exciting plans we have for The Belfry Golf Academy in 2016. We have also just launched a new website – www.TheBelfryAcademy.com – which makes it much easier to learn about the tuition sessions we offer. Golfers are now able to book their individual or group lessons, or reserve their place at one of our Golf Schools and Junior Academies at the click of a button!

Our ultimate aim is to make The Belfry Golf Academy into the ideal place for anyone to learn and develop their golf, no matter whether they are from the local area, visiting the resort, or want to travel from further afield to use our outstanding facilities,” commented Spurrier.
