The general manager of Royal Dornoch Golf Club says success in a national award scheme is a fitting end to a year of celebrations at the internationally-renowned venue. The club came top in the Best Value For Money (Over £100) category in the recent Scottish Golf Tourism Awards, which are chosen by the public. A prestigious Pro-Am tournament over three of Scotland’s finest links courses has attracted a capacity field. A total of 76 teams from across the UK, Europe and the US will compete in the Highland Golf Links 54-Hole Pro-Am Sponsored by Blue Group, which is being held for the first time with new headline sponsors from 26-28 September.
