High-Five For Five-Star La Manga Club At World Travel Awards

Although it’s no stranger to having accolades bestowed upon it over the years, the five-star La Manga Club resort, in Spain, is celebrating after receiving no fewer than five award nominations in the 2019 World Travel Awards. 

One of the world’s most iconic sporting venues, La Manga Club continues to set the pace for sports and leisure destinations across the globe, and, on the back of picking up two titles last year, it now has the chance to add more travel Oscar gongs when the travel industry converges at the Royal Opera House, in Muscat, on November 28. 

The plethora of nominations portrays the vast and varied layers of appeal at La Manga Club for different types of travellers. The renowned Murcian venue has received ‘World Leading’ nominations in five categories: Luxury Resort & Villas; Sports Resort; Golf & Villa Resort; Sports & Villa Resort; and Sports Academy. 

Recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality, the awards are regarded as ‘the Oscars of the travel industry’ and are voted for by travel and tourism professionals and business and leisure travel consumers worldwide.
